What do we need to bring if we are going to the scholarship competition?

In the email sent out, the letter stated to bring casual clothes for thursday, and business casual/ business attire to the interview on friday. Other than that I am not sure what else to bring, the email didn't have a packing list associated with it.

I don't think so, either the citadel will provide a bed for me or I'll tough it out for one night haha. The bag probably won't fit in my luggage for the flight down also.

The Benefit of this Forum is the depth of information from students and parents who can give you real info. When I saw your question about what to bring, I thought you meant to ask more about what the student should expect the competition to be about. A quick Google for this Forum found the following info which I hope will be helpful.

"As to preparation, DS had to write a short paper selecting one of three topics. During the competition there were small round table discussions, each round table had three scholarship competitors. The applicants discussed their papers and the other papers being presented with a panel watching and scoring their conversations. As I recall, the panel was looking for students who could bring depth to the discussion (not just a rote paper presentation, but analysis of all the papers being discussed).
