So my sons case has now been at status "Complete & Hold" for 8 days. I understand that this is due to information that is missing from his medical examinations. He has tried to contact the CIV team to try and get some information regarding how much longer it is going to take however he always gets a message stating that they are busy. Is this normal?
 
Completely Normal

This is how the complete process went for my son:

· DODMERBs questions completed on July 2nd, 2019

· Physical and Eye doctor appointments made on July 15th, 2019

· Physical and Eye doctor appointments completed on August 2nd, 2019

· DODMETs received and began reviewing on August 5th, 2019

· DODMETs noted “COMPLETE” on August 9th, 2019

· DODMETs noted “COMPLETE & ON HOLD” on August 13th, 2019

· DODMETs noted “CLOSED” on August 20th, 2019

· DODMERB account created on August 20th, 2019

· DODMERBs noted “EXAM REVIEWED” (AKA - information being reviewed) on August 21st, 2019

· DODMERBs emailed and posted on website “US NAVAL ACADEMY, USMMA, NROTC - QUALIFIED” (pdf letter attached in e-mail) on August 23rd, 2019
