Good afternoon everybody,
I am a current re-applicant to the USMA Class of 2026. Last year, I was physically and academically Q'd with two nominations, but was medically disqualified. This time around, I was able to successfully obtain a 3 Q'd position with a nomination as well. It has been hard work to get where I am today and have only become more determined to be appointed after having an overnight visit to West Point.
As of now, I recently had my RC contact me in regards to whether or not I would be interested in an offer for an AOG Scholarship. I promptly stated I would gladly accept the offer if offered, but have not officially been given an offer for it. I have been reading the forums about this and it seems like a very rare golden ticket to make the West Point dream come true.
I want to see if anyone has experience with the junior military colleges and which one(s) are the top tier for making candidates into West Point cadets. Also, if anyone has any insightful information and/or helpful tips as an AOG scholar I would greatly appreciate it. Hopefully my shown interest will grant me a spot on the AOG list!
Go Army.
