And start working on your Congressional Nomination packets!!!--!!!. Added those for emphasis. I got my Representative's packet in January of my Junior year, and I really wish that I had worked on it, because it laid around in my room for about seven months and I didn't do anything for it. If you can't get the packets from your nomination sources, then at least send them a letter about your intentions to apply for a nomination. Writing a letter means more than a phonecall, but both can't hurt.
They know that you probably didn't want to sit down a write the letter youself, so that shows that you're saying, "Hey, look at me. I care more than the people that are taking two minutes to call your secretary." It comes down to actions speak louder than words.
