Class of 2015 - Mailbox Stalkers Club

After reading the posts this afternoon about how BFEs were sent today, so we won't be getting them until Monday, I was a little dissapointed since I previously thought they were sent out Tuesday. I checked the mail, of course no BFE. About an hour later, I received a call from Senator Cardin informing me that I will be receiving my appointment in the mail early next week!! The BFEs are coming; this is a prime stalking week! Good luck to everyone still waiting to hear.
Congrats! And remember that stalker alumns are more than welcome here.

Good Morning all from Northern Illinois, just joining in after ready so many posts over the last week. My son told me about this forum and now I am obssesed with reading every few hours, checking his status and even looking out at the mailbox.....this is the most anxious time ever!

Welcome! I think that the best we can hope for with regard to BFE's and notifications is just a couple of strays here and there until next week. That is when things will get hot and heavy. We have family in Chicago - great city. What amazes me is that you can see Gary IN from some of the taller buildings!

3BOYSFORME, Welcome! I'm hiding from my husband in the beachhouse.....he has accused me of having a stalker/thread addiction and I have categorically denied all charges. Well, they say admitting your problem is the first step to recovery and I'm not sure I want help just yet. Ok, Vamom here, reporting in from the Outer Banks of NC
Neighbor: check-she's on high alert
Son: "mom, do NOT ask me one more time if I really really really like Tech/Corp of Cadets/ AFROTC or I swear I wont speak to you until graduation"
Husband: please don't make me take your laptop away
and in unrelated news:
Daughter: phoned from college "mom, can you put $100 in my account"

Over and out until the neighbor mailbox stalk ETA 3:30 Easter Time

umm, that would be "EasteRn Time"....as IF I would wait until Easter to stalk again?

Oh, btw...update on the vb game....

They lost, but it was one heck of a game! 25-23, 29-27 Gave up a 23-18 lead in 1st game, came back from a 21-16 deficit 2nd game. We had serving problems....balls kept floating out (maybe the other team injected Helium?...lol..)
Either way, the other coach gave our boys credit and said in an interview that they were lucky to catch us on an off night..... Considering the team we played has multiple state championships, it was still a rewarding experience for our boys!:thumb:

keep going

Just posting to help make this thread go past 100 pages.

And also stalking the mail container for my DS.

Hello, I am new to this forum but most definitely not new to mailbox stalking! I am extremely excited and nervous for the bfe. In fact my whole family is mailbox stalking, I race home from practice after school and they race home from work to see who gets to check the mail, before mailbox stalking I didn't come home until dinner now my parents cant get me out of the house

Good -later- morning everyone! Taking a "stalker break aka nervous breakdown moment" as my husband has started to say.................

Thanks for the welcome and the update on your stalking abilities...we too are headed on vacation tomorrow! We will have iphones, lap tops, friend checking on the house but, MOST IMPORTANTLY the mail. I have given her specific instructions of what to do(run like heck into my home with it), whom to call (me) and scream for joy! (oh and I forgot...check our lizard for food and water) but he's really not my main concern! I feel soooo crazed, but glad to know I am not the only one. My son does not want to even talk to me about it...can't imagine why not?!?! :shake:
Oh and my ETA of mail is about 1 hour 45 mins and about 25seconds......CST

Thanks vamom....sounds like we have about the same mind set right about now! whew, gonna be a long week!

USAFA post Vs USNA

The USAFA mail container stalkers post has 76 pages the USNA mail container stalkers have just 6 pages.

- Are AF parents a more paranoid group?
- Are Navy parents more confident?
- Perhaps Navy parents dont own a computer
- Navy breeds a silent service less prone to the therapeutic nature of forum posts
- The Navy has its stuff together, communicates better with parents and doesn't breed the paranoia that we share
- Navy parents are smarter than AF parents, knowing that the SA probably monitor this site and add or deduct points to the WCS based on what parents post.

Well if that last point is true, I just want everyone to know how proud I am of those who serve in the Air Force. That ought to be good for a point.

Happy Saturday everyone:rolleyes:

stalking 101

Good Morning from the West Coast.

It's a beautiful morning for mailbox stalking.

The anxiety increases as the time of delivery arrives...no mail here for a few more hours. Expect to see nothing in the box today...but..you never know.

I have my donuts and hot chocolate ready for our group meeting later today.

In the meantime, I won't be able to spend much time over-thinking all of this...I have to work today. (ugh).

I wish the best to all of you fellow stalkers...get out and take a walk/go exercise...anything to take your mind off of what you are obsessing about.

Good luck everyone. And remember....there is no mail delivery on Sunday, so you can step away from the mailbox.

See below answers and congratulations, you did get one point.....LOL

Can't figure out how to change name to "MikeR'sMom". My DS is leaving the Stalking up to me and is basically saying 'que sera sera'. How dare he?
So looked at caller id and saw District of Columbia, did a Reverse Lookup and saw it was a wireless #. Am 99.99999% sure it was a hideous sales call, but...what if...????

What district you reporting in from? District 13 is where I'm originally from. (Living in Maryland until I head over to USAFA.)

Anyway, I found out that my group commander's son hasn't heard back yet. I hear his mom is more of a nervous wreak than he is. With what was mailed out, I hope everyone gets the news they want! :w00t:

Welcome to the World of crazy/sane parent's/canidate's forum!

I am checking in from Northwest Ohio, mail has come and gone and nothing from the USAFA :frown:

Our DS leaves for Spring Break tomorrow morning (wanted to relax with the Grandparents and get "spoiled"), the rest of us leave on Monday for our Nation's Capitol. (hubby has business at Andrew's AFB)

We now have to wait until we are all back in Ohio to check our mail......this is truly going to put me over with no mailbox stalking!!!!!

I will be able to visit our website and at least hear if you all are receiving information this week! Hopefully all good!

Take it easy and I will stalk from our hotel in DC!

Mail came early today. No news. Scared the postal worker though. :shake:

It's okay. It's just THE NAVY WAY. Let them get their jollies now. As long as the CIC Trophy stays in CO where it belongs.
