So I was given a disqualifying eye exam by a doctor saying my vision is too bad for the US Army in February. Then I go to about 12 other eye doctors to verify that my vision is in fact well within regulations. And to add a bit of insult to injury, when I go for an ROTC eye exam to the doctor saying my vision is too bad, I receive a qualifying eye exam stating I am withing regulations. So the only time in my entire life I have ever been outside regulations is the one time I'm applying to USMA for a single day because of reasons. And as someone with a June birthday, I am ineligible to apply again. I got screwed out my chance to be a Cadet at USMA because an optometrist decided to misrepresent my eyesight one day. I am really struggling to understand this. The waiver process simply took too long for me to have an actual chance at attending USMA.
