My DS received an AMI asking for a “copy of the clinical note” for a clearance letter from his Pediatrician. I’m the very seasoned adult with nearly 3 decades of service and I am baffled.

The letter from the Pediatrician basically says that my DS had a procedure 5 years ago and after all follow up appointments he was back to “full function”. It goes on to say that he is cleared to participate in all physical activities without restriction.

I know, I know... have DS (not parent) contact Mr. Mullen

just venting

USMA asked for the Pediatrician letter stating that he has no restriction, which is now in the file. Waiver was granted from them months ago.
USAFA is looking at it now and has all of the case file notes showing the procedure and follow up appointments. They obviously see the Pediatrician letter and request this AMI. How does my DS explain that the Pediatrician is referring to medical documents already uploaded to DODMERB?

My DS is taking the bull by the horns and has managed his entire application process. He asks for advice and I’m just stuck on this one. He is going to call the representative that sent him the AMI the first thing in the morning, but I can already see where the discussion is heading.

Mr. Mullen will probably get an email from my DS at some point tomorrow.

"Mr. Mullen will probably get an email from my DS at some point tomorrow." Will answer tomorrow night, if received :wiggle:
