I love this bit! Hippies!

My favorite part is where he's interviewing the woman and she says they're protesting for free speech. He says, "To bad we don't have anyone sworn to protect our right to free speech." She says, "Wouldn't that be great?"

Totally clueless.

I also loved the deer-in-the-headlights look when she mentioned how, if we got rid of all weapons, there would be peace on the streets. He responds with (paraphrasing, here) "Oh, yeah! The police, too!", and her expression is just :confused:.

Amen. Without them, we'd be nothing. We wouldn't even have the luxury of laughing at the views of people we disagree with.

I did love the 60's. Seems like a time warp in Berkley. Beam me up Scotty, there is no intelligent life on this planet.
