Has anyone received the remedial code R251.22 in their process I received it today and am trying to figure out what I need to do.
 
According to the list of codes on the DODMERB site, this is a remedial code that does not require a doctor's appointment. My DS had one of these as well in his process. Not the same code but a remedial code. Normally from my understanding and from his experience, it was just additional documentation that needed to be submitted to DODMERB before a final determination was made. As I recall, the remedial code listed on his site told him exactly what he needed to do, so you may want to look through your information on the DODMERB portal for additional instructions. Someone who may have more experience may be able to chime in to give you more detail.
