Code to send SAT scores?

Does ROTC require scores to be sent from the test agency or just faxed/emailed?
DD doesn't see anything about having scores sent so we're assuming she can just email or fax. Is that correct? Thanks!

I'm pretty sure it's in the instructions/ checklist of the application. I googled "sat score rotc" and got a bunch of returns. For example got this for AFROTC:
  • Electronically through the ACT or SAT agency using AFROTC Test Code 0548

That's the part I'm confused with. Air force and Navy rotc have codes but army doesn't. So I thought I should check and see if anyone else found codes for army.
 
Direct from the ACT website:

0656 NROTC NAVY-MARINE SCHOLARSHIP, PENSACOLA, FL, US
0548 AIR FORCE ROTC SCHLRSHP-HQ AFR, MAXWELL AFB, AL, US
1676 ARMY ROTC SCHOLARSHIP, FORT KNOX, KY, US
 
I'm glad I asked. How was that so difficult for us? I guess we didn't look into enough. Thanks!
 
There is a lot of experience AKA school of hard knocks on this forum! :biggrin:

By the way, for Army ROTC, be sure you have a hard copy of your scores to hand to your ROO and PMS. I have found that Cadet Command does not always expedite these numbers to the local battalion level, especially for campus based scholarship decisions.
 
Thanks for the advise. I know you have been down this road. Nice to learn from others. This process never ends! DD is still working on the application, but in the mean time, she had to do all of the college apps too! I laugh to hear her friends complain about writing one essay. They have no idea!
 
We didn't send a code to AFROTC HSSP. It just asked for a scan and upload of her official score from the ACT site. No code needed.

That's what was confusing. The directions said to upload the scores but then my DD said she needs to have her scores sent. That's when I posted looking for some codes, which I recieve from AROTC-dad and inSanemom (thank you). Anyway she upload and had them sent.

Yes, but my DD was for Air Force not Army... might be different. She subsequently received a scholarship:) Best of Luck!
 
Anyone knows how fast the Army will receive SAT scores after I sent them directly from College Board?
