College Acceptance!

I got accepted to major in Cybersecurity, in which I don't exactly presume I will commit there. I still want to wait on word from The Citadel. If accepted, nonetheless I'll obviously commit!

Congratulations on the acceptance! I mean that for real. It's nice you posted it because I almost forgot how it felt for my DDs - you know you'll get in somewhere, but until you get that first real college acceptance that you can print out from the portal or the envelope with stickers/certificate/wall calander/poster come, it isn't really real until then! Congrats, you are going to college! Hope you get many more and get your top choice!

Thank you a lot! That means a lot. To be honest, it feels a bit surreal, I still clearly remember times from my Freshman Year, and look at me now, I'm applying to colleges, and I've already gotten accepted into ONE, of hopefully many!

Thankfully I don't have 9th or 10th graders anymore but high school goes by quick I always told them. Senior year especially.

Just an update lol...

I applied to Murray State University last week, and I got accepted today!
Congratulations! It is always a relief to know that you can go to college somewhere this fall. Best of luck with The Citadel. DS was very impressed with The Citadel and the opportunities offered there.

Congratulations!

Your posts clearly exhibit a tone of youthful exuberance I faintly recognize as once belonging to myself, i.e. listening to baseball games on the radio in my bedroom and STANDING for the national anthem though nobody could see me. Dear lord.

Give 'em hell at MSU and good luck in your quest for a commission!

Congratulations on achieving numerous options, but a word of advice. Don't ever say out loud something like "this wasn't my first choice, but...", or "I put in for ROTC in case I didn't get an Academy appointment", or "I settled on Branch X because it's less competitive than Branch Y". Rank and stack your options SILENTLY, and when you arrive at your chosen destination, be convinced it was your first choice.

Congratulations!

How this man get banned? :/

Another one in the bag... Ball State University, a bit lower acceptance rate 76%, compared to my previous schools

@MichaelT2022 , CONGRATULATIONS again!

Don't knock high acceptance rate colleges. Ball State is awesome! A college should not be defined by who they keep out, but by who they admit - YOU!!!! (actually, stole that from ASU's charter). Go Sun Devils, 80%+ acceptance rate and a direct link to my checking account on my parent portal (aka glorified payment portal)!

Wonderful opportunities!

Embry Riddle is 62%! That's a relief for me!!!!!!

Someone is having a successful college application cycle! Congratulations again! Keep us posted!
