I’m currently a college freshman with 3.6 Gpa. I’ve contacted the Baseball head coach in my interest in achieving a appointment at USCGA. I was a 4 yr varsity baseball letterman and captain for the last 2 seasons. My question is, what are my chances in competing for a appointment with a high school senior?

My son is a football player who has been communicating with the coaching staff for the last few months, he is currently a Junior at High School. Last October we went for a tour of the academy and watched a football game and met the Head Coach. It was a very positive meeting. However I suspect like anything else his chances of playing will be based on ability and depth at his position. The biggest challenge will be admission to USCGA in the first place.

What major and is this a 3.6 with classes like physics and calculus?

If the coach wants you bad enough things can happen.

Only costs time and effort to apply

Mechanical Engineering and Ap Calculus, Ap English, Ap Us History, In high school. College Calculus 2. Aerospace studies.
