Hello. I am a senior in HS and have my candidate portal open. Should I get my HS guidance counselor to fill out my activities record and academic info or wait until college for it?

I was also a college reapplication. During the fall semester of my freshmen at college, when I was reapplying, I contacted my HS counselor to fill out that information.

So would you recommend me contacting my HS counselor now and getting it done so its not something to worry about later or do you think that they need my final HS GPA or something like that?

My DS was a college re-applicant, and admissions did want his final HS transcript/rank in class as well as info from his HS counselor again. I think he waited until the end of summer to contact his HS, things were quieter then. College re-applicants have to wait until fall college grades are available in Jan to submit that transcript, so that was plenty early. Biggest thing that tripped DS up was that he thought medical being good for 2 years meant there would be nothing to do there. But you do have to submit a form for it that basically says "no medical changes." Good luck!
