Forum!

Any college reapplicants have their first semester transcripts checked off in the portal yet?

I do, although I actually had sent in a transcript during the semester which only showed my transfer credits and current schedule with no grades. So it was checked off without having first semester grades. Looking back, I am not sure that it was the correct thing to do, however I have sent in an updated transcript after the semester ended.

I had my first semester transcript (with finalized grades) sent on 21 December and it still appears as a big red X, so I think I will send an email to the counseling office to make sure they got it, since they will not accept anything after 15 January.

When I emailed them after I had them sent they informed me it would be input within 10 days but maybe Christmas put a dent in that.

I’d assume it’s fine, I sent an email the first time about me sending my transcript. They replied by saying that they usually pull all of the transcripts they receive once a week. An email wouldn’t hurt though because then they will actively look for it. I’m sort of hoping that holidays are playing a role because my ALO interview that had been done prior to Thanksgiving is still showing as incomplete. I sent an email about this nearly a month ago with no response or update.
 
I have the same problem. They’ve said that my college transcripts were received but my portal hasn’t updated yet.

It sucks that we both have it but honestly that's a good sign, it just means it's a systemic thing and that neither of us have done anything wrong (probably).

This is often where the forum is very helpful.
 
My DS faces the same issue. He followed up with both the college transcript office and admissions team. Due to the holidays he hasn’t heard back but he’s literally done all he can do right now. We are thinking the delay is due to the new portal system this year: Several things submitted by his high school counselor took more than a month to show up green in his portal. My best advice is to double check with both parties and then be patient knowing you’ve done your part. It will get done.

Very similar to my situation! Almost identical. The transcript office confirms it was sent, and USAFA said they’d input it within a week once I told them I had the transcripts sent. I also told them by spring schedule was on there to make sure they check everything off.

Has anyone had theirs checked off yet? I know admissions is probably super busy right now, but I'm getting antsy because the deadline for my checklist is on Friday. :sadwavey:

They got back to my email saying they have it but the portal has not yet updated.

I am sure they are on top of it for you as well!
 
Anyone else still not have theirs checked off? Curious :yllol:

What address did you send your college transcript to I have been looking but can not find anything? Thanks for the help!

Instructions to Candidates C/O ‘26, Candidate Checklist:

“Request official copies of your preparatory school and college transcripts (if applicable) be sent by your school to us. Grade reports are unofficial and are not normally used. If you are enrolled in college or preparatory school in the fall of 2021, your official fall semester transcript must reach us by January 15 (Page 8).”

Additionally:

“NOTE: Transcripts may NOT be sent through fax. Official transcripts may only be received through postal mail, an electronic transcript service, directly uploaded to your portal by your school counselor or school official, or emailed from your school official to the following email addresses:

USAFA_RRS.ORGMAIL@usafa.edu Team_Blue@usafa.edu Team_Silver@usafa.edu”
