I am a USNA 2021 hopeful. I finished my whole application but I did not meet medical standards for DODMERB. I failed the PIP test but passed the vivid red/green test. I see many people saying they took the farnsworth test but when I asked the doctor they said they don't offer it as part of the DODMERB test. On the DODMERB website it says Pending waiver review by USNA so I'm assuming that is a good thing. Is there a way I can call USNA or DODMERB to ask them to have me take the Farnsworth test to increase my chances at a waiver?

My son received the same information this morning from USNA. He can submit his results from the Farnsworth Lantern to be scanned into his file for the waiver process.
