Combining MS4 year courses

I’m set to commission May 2022 but finish my degree December 2021. Cadre said I cant combine my 302 and 402 course because they are taught at the same time. They did mention a possibility of my PMS holding a self passed course for me. Normally I wouldn't rush commissioning but I’m prior service and started ROTC back as an MS1 in 2011. So you can imagine I just want to finish and get back to work. Has anyone experienced or seen a cadet fulfill their second semester MS4 course in another manner?

Cadet Command forbids...
That’s the old way. Who would ever think that a Cadet can be contracted without a passing APFT? Now they have to take the 1 minute push-up, 1 minute sit-up, and 1 mile.

Everything these days has a waiver. Bottom line is to ask. I know of a program in Michigan that has compressed classes...

never say never

Good point about the PT test. Just posted what I understand is the current layout.

I was at Knox last summer with 7th BDE. Never thought I would see a 9 day CST.

@ReoAZ First thank you for your prior service and in advance for your future service as well.

It seems like you may have answered your own question in that when you are back from break, you could be speaking with your chain of command/ advisor/ PMS to request a self-paced course for you to finish your course obligations over the Spring/ Summer/ Fall concurrent with the other military science courses you are taking, and then graduate early, since you noted your cadre stated there is precedent. See if she/ he or their designee will support it so you can move forward in your new role and your military career without sitting with your thumb--- ah never mind. If compression is an issue perhaps this could be a self-paced, independent summer 2021 activity. Find out and please keep the board updated with what you find.

GL.
