I received an email this morning (about an hour ago) from USNA admissions saying this..."You are almost at the finish line.... Your US Naval Academy admissions team is standing by ready to receive your completed application. If you are still competing for an appointment to USNA today is the day to finish your application." Has anyone else received this? Are they saying the deadline is today? I'm almost positive I have until the end of January to complete my application which I was a little taken aback when I saw this email.
 
I got it as well. They are encouraging you to finish as fast as you can. Deadline shouldn't have changed.
 
same here for my DD, got the same email. She selected the Yes box that she wants to continue the application.
 
I got this email as well but the only thing left in my application is USNA processing my DoDMERB results from over a month ago. I was a bit confused when I got the same email earlier.

This is the “automated” gentle nudge email that you are probably familiar with, and goes out to everyone, no matter what state their Application is in ....

You are on this Forum, which means you are most likely on top of things. So there is is no need to be concerned. The deadline is extended this year into February, but don’t wait until then to complete your package.

DD got this email today. I have been convinced something is wrong because she has had ZERO communication from Navy about application but tons of duplicate emails for CVW (she did in person in January). She received a link to “check her application” (this is the first time she’s seen this link) and it shows her ACT scores missing (they were sent on AUGUST 26 with a confirmation number) and her transcripts. She submitted her completed application 3 days after it opened and complete her dodmerb and CFA this summer as well. No idea what happened but they now tell her they found one set of ACT scores (there are two) and her transcripts.

So frustrating but at least she’s figuring it out. Candidates - make sure you are following up!!

Candidates can go months and months between submitting application and hearing from USNA. The comment about "rolling admissions" in the Admissions website is a little misleading...sure, some candidates hear early (either with an LOA or Appointment) so the process is "rolling" but the vast majority have to go through the whole nomination slate process that is described in other threads. USNA really can't consider a nomination slate until all applications are in.

True. But in my DDs case there actually was something wrong. I’m sure it’s the growing pains of launching a new system - so candidates should be on top of their application. She had been getting weird emails too. It just wasn’t right. But now I think they are on the right track.
 
Just a reminder (automated) to complete your application if you are still interested. Don't read to much into it.
