Completed AFROTC Application and Interview

Hi everyone. I am a current senior in high school and I just submitted my AFROTC application, hoping to complete everything by the time the first board meets. I am considered "Eligible", but how and when do I receive confirmation of an interview or update in the application? Will it be through the Wings Holm Center portal or through email? Thank you!

Oh man, I wish I could remember what happened for my DD last December. I know she got notified but I think the Commander of the Detachment reached out to her. Because I'm pretty sure there wasn't anything in Wings that said who was doing it. We expected it to be one of the 2 schools she was actually applying to, but it was the Detachment that turned out to be closest to us, and not one she had on her list at the time. But I do know she received the notification within less than a week for the interview. It was fairly quick turn around time once she was eligible.

Good luck. The interview truly is the most important part. The rest of your application should stand on its own.

My DS was contacted by the local detachment via email. The same detachment conducted the interview via zoom.

Ok, thank you so much for the info! Yesterday, I received a phone call from my local detachment and already set up an interview.

For me it was about a week and a half. After my interview (which was 3 days ago), it was uploaded almost immediately to complete my application.
