completion of application

Once your application is completed with nomination how long until admissions receive your application? I know I have a due date for completion, but would it go to admissions prior to that date which is a month and a half away?
 
If your application 'checklist' shows all 'green checks,' then you should meet a board at USAFA soon. Medical qualification through DODMERB will then allow you to earn an appointment. However, as you know, most appointments will be awarded in the March timeframe (through mid-April). One item I emphasize to my students is to continue to update Admissions on any 'good news' including better scores, awards, new leadership positions, etc., all the way through the end of January when the applications close. Also, keep your conditioning program running strong in preparations for BCT. Best of luck!

When you say, "Update Adminsitions," do you mean emailing Team Blue from the portal? As I've said in another post, my DS's mentor is MIA, so he doesn't know who he'd even update about the awards he's received, etc.

You wouldn't need to update your mentor ALO anyway. Any updates should be sent to your admissions team who can add them to your file. They may require proof. Ds's coach had to send them an email stating DS was chosen as team captain.
