Computer Preference - USMA

Hello All,

I saw on my file "Computer Preference" but I am not able to see or complete the form until the 26th. Does anybody know which computers USMA generally assigns cadets? What computers were given out last year?

Different ones than the year before and different from the year before that. Will most likely be a Dell but might not.
 
The preference just gives you a chance to buy (from your cadet account) an additional package that has a monitor, docking station, and some other features. Almost everyone gets it. It’s nice to have because it also comes with a printer which is nice. I would recommend because the docking station and monitor are very useful, and since it comes from your cadet account, it is “free”.

The computers given to cadets are pretty powerful, and you will not have any performance bottlenecks.
 
+1 to getting the additional package offered. It is issued with computer and you know everything works properly with issued computer and software.

You can opt to buy your own peripherals, but getting the package saves time and hassles.
