What type of computer will plebes be issued this year? Also, are we allowed to have a dual screen set up?

When I visited the academy a few months ago as a drag, the plebes in the room I was in had dual screen setups. So we'll probably be able to have dual screens.

You're allowed to have dual screen monitors but you're not issued it. You can opt to order one and it'll just be taken out of your initial ace loan.
My advice would be to not by the monitor they offer and just by a TV for the same price at Target nearby. Better quality and able to hook up to game consoles easier too (if you like video games that is, and if you want to risk it as a plebe), but for me it was worth it.

Also the laptops issued to the plebes are different every year, so no telling what they'll be.

Don't buy electronics from the Mid Store. It's never a good deal.

Wait until the end of Plebe year. Your firsties will be looking to ditch their TVs (and speakers, projectors, game consoles, all kinds of crap), and your upperclass will be looking to upgrade their stuff.

Definitely don't buy anything until the ac year. Every company's training policy is different. As a plebe, I was authorized one monitor, no larger than 30''.

they are right, during my cvw i saw a bunch of plebes buying the outgoing classes electronics, they sold fast needless to say
