So I'm currently a 9th grader and I'm just doing my research as of now but I had a question regarding the CFA. If I were to get accepted into the summer seminar my Junior year would they administer the CFA during the summer seminar? I read a post saying they did administer the CFA during the seminar and I just wanted to clarify whether or not that was true.

They do administer it there. If you’re a girl though, I have heard about people not being given help on the FAH, so that’s something to note. If you get into NASS, the best advice is to be working out months before to score well. If your scores could be improved, retake it later. But yes, you could hypothetically get it out of the way that summer

Ok thanks a lot for the information and I'm a guy so I'll just be doing the cadence pull-ups

You may be getting the PRT and the CFA mixed up, if you're putting "cadence" anywhere in your thinking.
In the CFA (Link Here). The elements of the CFA are (in order); Basketball Throw, Pull-Ups, Shuttle Run, Crunches, Push-Ups, and a 1 Mile run.

To throw more acronyms your way, The PFA (Physical Fitness Assessment) is what the Midshipmen do twice per year now, while attending USNA. The PFA includes both the BCA (Body Composition Assessment) and the PRT (Physical Readiness Test).

The PRT consists of (in order); Push-Ups on a Cadence, Planks, and a 1-1/2 mile run.
