Based upon the unofficial buzz on this forum, the general consensus seem to be that Parent Plebe Weekend is going to be August 7 through August 9, 2009. However, our local USNA parents club seems to think it may be the following weekend - August 14 through August 16, 2009.
Obviously, the basis behind these tentative dates must be more than a guess, yet the estimates are conflicting. For us, it’s actually a little more than just hotel reservations. It involves lead time with regard to vacation days from work.
Is their a certain number of days that plebe summer must be? Hence, if this is the case, July 1 plus x number of days equal the first day of PPW. Is there a certain number of days between the end of plebe summer and reformation of the Brigade? Can anyone comment on this with at least a limited level of authoritative knowledge?
