Congressional Interviews

Ohio here -
DS has not heard yet of interview date/time. All three (2 senate, 1 congressman) have informed him interviews will be via zoom. He is a re-applicant from last year and had all three interviews completed by this time; so needless to say, he's a little nervous. He received nomination from one senator last year and the senator's office has been very helpful and said that right now they are so backed up; but plan to get information out soon. I have a feeling it's going to be another nerve-wracking wait game. All we can do is hang in there! Good luck all!

Did DS learn of the interviews from senators through mail or through email?

Senator Toomey conducts multiple interview sessions so maybe you get into the schedule when the date approaches:
November 5 & 6 – Robert Morris University, Moon Township
November 9 & 10 – Freedoms Foundation, Valley Forge
November 21 - Allentown
November 30 & December 1 – Army Heritage & Education Center, Carlisle
Mine is on the 5th for Toomey. Do you know if Senator Casey Jr. or other representatives started to send out letters?

Mine used a different video chat software, but it was the same idea. Four panelists and a timekeeper. Generic questions about why I want to go there and then some specific ones about my application.
So quick question how did you greet the panel like did you good afternoon sirs or something. I think I'm a bit too nervous

Last year he was notified via both routes - dependent upon senator/congressman. So far this year, our Congressman's office said he would hear via email. We just get in the routine of checking everything multiple times a day. It's a vicious cycle until May.

DS just completed virtual interviews with both senators' staffs on Saturday the 17th. Rep's deadline was the 23rd so we expect to hear from them soon for an invitation to interview.
