Congressional Recommendation for ROTC

Last week DS received an email stating “congratulations you have received a congressional recommendation for ROTC”. Just wondering if anyone else received this email as we were confused because he did not apply for this. In the meantime, still patiently waiting and hoping for an appointment!

Last week DS received an email stating “congratulations you have received a congressional recommendation for ROTC”. Just wondering if anyone else received this email as we were confused because he did not apply for this. In the meantime, still patiently waiting and hoping for an appointment!

Yes I got one too, they put you on the congressional list. It’s still up to the army to select you or not. I don’t know too much on the process, they sent me the wrong invite code so I haven’t been able to put it in to complete the scholarship.

Thank you for the reply. We were just hoping this did not mean DS didn’t get appointment and this was being suggested as alternative.
