My son received a nomination from our congressman. Historically, he typically only nominates two or three kids to each academy. This year he nominated ten. With this many it makes me wonder if he switched from using competitive to principle noms. His office released something in our local newspaper about my son. Part of his statement reads, "I am confident he will serve our country with distinction." If I read this literally it sounds like a principle nomination. Feel free to chime in with your take.
