My son received a notification to schedule his physical through DODMERB but cannot reach anyone. He has called numerous times and only received voicemail. Is there other numbers to call to speak with a DODMERB member instead of leaving voicemails? Thank you for any help!!!

I remember scheduling the physical to be a pretty frustrating process. Basically I had to keep calling/emailing until they would respond, then they gave me the number of their contractor who put me on hold for an hour and then gave me the number of their local office. So it's normal to be inconvenienced but hang in there. I'd try sending emails as well though.

Start here....

www.dodmets.com - and choose Applicant Login

Once you complete this process with the DoDMerb contractor Concorde (Concentra) they will send your info over to the DodMerb and you will be able to track your status at:

https://dodmerb.tricare.osd.mil/

Thank you so much for your help!!!!!! I was able to get in touch with someone right away and they helped me get correct the issue. :D

I can tell you from my DS's experience, that everything went smoothly. I read a lot about frustration on these forums, but he had nothing of the sort.
He got an email, called them, and went for his eyesight, hearing, and physical exams later in the same week.
The whole process (from the outside looking in) seemed like a well-oiled machine.

I guess mileage may vary. :confused2:

It's a well oiled machine......UNTIL Concorde forgets to physically mail the medical over to Dodmerb or the doctor at Concorde forgets to write a comment on question 7 of the medical history but they already sent it to Dodmerb. That's when it turns into a nightmare. It only takes one small issue to start a cycle of complete frustration. Then the candidate is the one scrambling to figure out the miscommunication of why their status on Dodmets states "incomplete hold" or why their file states "remedial requested with no codes" listed. If you are fortunate enough to not have a issue, count your blessings and say a prayer for the other 99 candidates that are probably going thru hell.

@Ravens- I feel your pain! At Concorde appt they forgot to write in his blood pressure so it was “on hold” now it’s at DoDMERB and says Remedial with no codes. DS called and they’ve said it still need to go to the doctor and the person on the help line said that could take a month bc they are so busy right now. So now we need to be patient- good practice for upcoming January through May admissions waiting game right?

Almost makes you wonder if it's the first test of persistence for the SA's, eh? ;)
