I haven't really been able to find a concrete answer. I figured it would be best to post on the forum. How does contracting work? When does someone on scholarship contract? I was granted a 3-Year scholarship to TAMU. I will be heading over in August, I'm still just a bit confused on how everything operates.

You contract when your scholarship starts. A 3AD starts the first day of your sophomore year- provided you are DODMERB qualified and you can pass an APFT and the PMS wants to contract you.
