Corrective eye surgery after entering USMMA

Anyone out there with experience with corrective eye surgery after enrolling at usmma. My son is interested in becoming a SEAL and his vision is slightly outside the requirements and will require correction. Other academies cover this, but I'm guessing it will be at our expense to do this. Just curious if anyone else has went through something similar.
