You can find similar videos and tributes to all of the Senior Military Colleges, to the cadets at the sundry Reserve Officer Training Corps units around the country, and to the men and women of armed services regardless of the school association. That said, these two focus on Texas A&M.

BOLO (Be On the Look Out) for “The Corps, Keepers of the Spirit”.

Described in more detail below, this will be a feature length documentary about the Texas A&M Corps of Cadets. You can view the trailer here: http://corps.tamu.edu/movie/

“The Corps: Keepers of the Spirit” is a feature-length documentary that tells the story of The Corps, from its rich history to its bright future. The film captures an entire year on “The Quad” with unprecedented access to student life. From F.O.W. to Final Review, “The Corps: Keepers of the Spirit” dramatically reveals the cadet training process and the leaders it builds. The movie will be available for pre-order in August and available for purchase in September. Proceeds from sales will benefit the Corps of Cadets.

To follow up: The 21st was the 70th anniversary of the 1946 Muster on Corregidor Island.

Several of the Aggies from the 1946 Corregidor Muster were on the A&M’s campus for the Muster ceremony. This video was first shown for them this morning when The Association of Former Students dedicated a special Corregidor Aggie Ring collection. It tells the story, on this 70th anniversary, of the 1946 “Victory Muster” on Corregidor Island, when they gathered to honor the Aggies who had been besieged there in 1942.
