I’m still CPR, and I want to know what it means in relation to NAPS. Has NAPS been filled? Or is there still room? I’ve always thought I’d be a great candidate for NAPS since that’s what my BGO and Congressional board said to me.

In an effort to notify the forum of timing of USNA notifications; my DS was "Turned Down by USNA" this evening at 5:26 pm via an email.

He had a very lengthy notification congratulating him on all of his hard work and providing guidance to him on areas of improvement, NROTC and re-application potential for Class of 2025 - inclusive of what types of classes he should take to demonstrate that he would do well at USNA as a re-applicant.

For those anticipating NAPS - His notification included a notification that he was not selected for NAPS.

I have seen a lot during my short period of time on this forum... and in my opinion, USNA did an exceptional job with their letter of declination. The letter was inspiring and uplifting considering he was not offered an appointment to the academy nor an appointment to the prep school.

I just want to give a BIG THANK YOU to the USNA for a well written notification that provided great insight into how to continue to be competitive, for next years class.
