Hello Folks
DD is a recruited athlete and has irregular cycles. I noticed in the DOD INSTRUCTION 6130.03 that if cycles are longer than 35 days it is disqualifying. I can imagine a lot of female applicants don't fit the 21 to 35 day time frame. She takes birth control pills to regulate her cycle but recently stopped taking them because she doesn't really like to take medication. Her hormone levels are normal, everything else normal .. just good old family genetics. Will this DQ her? Possible to get a waiver? Should she keep taking the pill to make the medical process easier?
Any experience or thoughts on this would be much appreciated.
Cheers!
