I spend a year at VMI before transferring to West Point. Feel free to ask me any questions about either school or both. Just trying to help those that were in my position not too long ago.
 
How would you compare the academic rigor between the two schools?
 
Congratulations on following in General Patton's footsteps from VMI to West Point. After completing the Rat Line, I hope you won't have to repeat your USMA plebe year, like Old Blood and Guts!

West Point is a lot more academically challenging. There is also more emphasis placed on academics. For reference my GPA at VMI was 4.0 and after my plebe year it was 3.1.
