Current DODmerb processing times

Under status in my son's account it says, "We have a complete set of all of your examination records and they are currently being reviewed by a CIV Team case manager." It has been over 2 weeks since his file was marked completed online and almost 4 weeks since he had my exams. Does anyone have any insight as to how long it is taking for DODmerb to review files right now? I know he will have an DQ and he has received an LOA, so we are anxious for him to get the waiver process started (which we know has to be initiated by the schools). Thank you!
 
Hello. Is the status you mention in DoDMETS? Has your DS created a DoDMERB account to check status at DoDMERB stage?

If no documents have been received by DoDMERB from DoDMETS, you DS can use the "contact us" information on DoDMETS to ask CIV about status. Good luck!
 
What LovetheUSA stated above is accurate. What the DoDMERB status is what you should go by.

Yes, the status is in the DODMETS page. I do not believe he has created a DoDMERB account. I will follow up with him about this. Thank you!

My DD also seemed to have overlooked that a DoDMERB account is separate from a DoDMETS account. We're in that in-between phase where DoDMETS showed case is complete as of 9/9, after optometrist on 9/6, and DoDMERB shows "Awaiting Receipt of Initial Medical Exam." Generally pleased that DoDMETS was rapid.
 
If you don't see a change in DoDMERB by 9/23, your DD can contact the CIV case manager at DoDMETS and inquire as to the status of the transfer.

CIV was very responsive to our DD.

Thanks everyone. There was a hangup in the file getting from DodMETS to DodMERB, but it has been resolved and an initial determination has already been made. So...at least things are moving along. Now to tackle the waiver process :) Thanks for everyone's help. Really appreciate it!

what was the 'hangup' in the file? what does that mean exactly? curious because we're also waiting a long time...
