Thanks for taking the time to do this.I remember when I was applying this forum really helped me out... If you have any questions feel free to post below or message me and I will get back to you! There is no such thing as a dumb question

Not a cadet but the book of plebe crazy knowledge that you are quizzed on is ''Bugle Notes''Did you guys have a handbook you had to memorize there? It would be helpful if I could do it in advance.
also, what is the current school day life like? (What events at what time) I was wondering what was the recent school schedule like, and how are you managing it? Any tips to maximize your time there?
Weekends as a cadet are definitely interesting...Hi there, What are weekends like as a Cadet? I can't seem to find anything about weekends. Do you have free time or is your time always filled with military and academic duties? I'd assume as a plebe you have the least free time but I am just curious what that will look like. Thank you!
My best piece of advice for Beast is to try to appreciate it in the moment. Anyone who has been through beast can tell you all the funny stories of their classmates as new cadets often do stupid and funny things. Looking back on beast, it was a lot of fun and transformative. As long as you want to be at West Point and you don't have an attitude problem, Beast isn't something to worry about, just something to work through. Another thing is to not be hard on yourself. New cadets are used to being the best wherever they come from, and will mess up during beast many times. Try your best to be the best that you can be, but don't get super disappointed with a failure, just try to learn and move on.What is your best piece of advice for Beast and is there anything you wish you knew before R-Day? Company athletics are just intramural sports while competitive clubs are similar to high school sports. If there's a club that you would like to do and have to time for, I would highly recommend going for it!Thoughts on competitive clubs over company athletics?
You'll have time to memorize it during Beast. You definitely don't need to before, but it may be cool to just read through if you're interested.Did you guys have a handbook you had to memorize there? It would be helpful if I could do it in advance.

What about Chemistry (with lab)?I took English, History, Math, Physics (With Lab), Psychology, and Boxing/Mil Move.
These are all common classes for plebes. If you want to learn more about our curriculum, look at https://courses.westpoint.edu/static/index.htm

For R-day, I wish I knew that I did not break in my low quarters as much as I should've. Besides that, R-day was one of the weirdest days of beast.
Let me know if you have any other questions
The calendar is not out yet. R Day is 26,27 and 28 June.Is there a schedule out yet for the 2021-2022 year for the c/o 2025? When will R day be?
Chemistry is an issue for a lot of people here, as it is required. I didn't have to take it because I took AP Chemistry in high school. However, the best thing about West Point in my opinion is that there are plenty of resources to help you succeed. You will have AI (Additional Instruction) from professors, tutors and tutoring sessions from CEP (Center for Enhanced Performance), academics staff in your company, and a bunch of upperclassmen which are willing to help. What about Chemistry (with lab)?
Thanks... I understand. What about the average cadet with no AP Chem background, they took Chem in 1st Semester or 2nd Semester?Chemistry is an issue for a lot of people here, as it is required. Its randomized as to whether you take it 1st semester or second semester. I personally took CH101 1st semester plebe year along with History, IT, MA103, and English.Thanks... I understand. What about the average cadet with no AP Chem background, they took Chem in 1st Semester or 2nd Semester?
