Could someone speak to CVW and NASS?DS attended NASS this past summer. We're wondering if applicants are invited to CVW and NASS?? Also, what would qualify an applicant for CVW?

Yes my daughter attended both. It is not public knowledge how one gets a CVW, I would have your child ask their BGO and or Admissions Counsel for a CVW.

My DS recently received an invite and will be attending November 2-4. Have to agree with ThePatternisFull as no one can seem to answer who gets them and why. You can read about CVW on the USNA website at https://www.usna.edu/CVW/index.php

You apply for NASS, but are chosen to attend CVW. LOTS of older threads about both programs. No one on here works in admissions, so we can't tell you who gets chosen and why. NASS is partly a recruiting effort to interest those who might not have otherwise thought about attending USNA.
