Today I received a questionaire from USNA about my CVW at the end of this month and one of the questions is about selecting a certain 4/C or Company to shadow, I also have the opportunity to leave it blank.
Would anyone know a 4/C that is on the field hockey team, or have any advice of which company would be the best to shadow?
Are the companies organized by any specific criteria or is it random?

Thank you in advance.

Have you reached out to the field hockey team via Facebook or their website with a short intro of yourself, that you will be attending a CVW and would like to shadow a field hockey 4/C to learn more about the program?

They might be able to connect you with a 4/C. If not make a note on the CVW questionaire that you would like to shadow a field hockey player.

Companies at USNA are random, there is no specific break down to them with certain groups assigned to certain companies.

I'm unsure about anyone in the field hockey team. It is separated at random so all companies are same in that sense. The only difference is the specific thing they do such as sports or some classes. When I went I was with 3rd company. They are very nice and I would recommend them but you should see if anyone else can tell you about the field hockey thing.

My DD played Field Hockey at USNA. My understanding is that it is not even recognized as a club sport. Interested players get together and pay their own way. They do go to Club tournaments and play other Club teams in the surrounding area. They provide their own transportation but are provided a "coach". Biggest shock was that they also play against teams that include men "club rules". Do some searches for USNA Field Hockey. I am sure you can find some contacts and information.

Its not a club sport, its recognized as an Extra Curricular. On the current website the picture of the USNA team has a few men on it. The Facebook page appears to be current and maintained. Might be a good starting point.
