I've been reading some older posts and from what I understand there are some small things that can be done to make your CVW a more advantageous experience. Anyone have any advice or personal experience they would like to offer? Thanks.

Don't leave anything unsaid. You should have no more questions left to ask by the time you leave. Also, don't forget to ask the upperclassmen questions!

After CVW our DS made his mind up that he would pursue the academy as his first choice. It really helped him getting a glimpse of the inside of life at the academy. He observed many CVW visitors who were timid and didn't get involved. This seemed foreign to him since the idea is not simply to observe but rather to observe and be a part of it for a few days. Go and enjoy it. Jump in and be a part. Ask questions. Learn when you go to class with your Mid. Observe.

CVW is a great opportunity. DS has remained in contact with his Mid. They hit it off so well and continue to correspond. Best to you in your pursuit.
