Day 1 attire NASS

DS is arriving tomorrow for NASS session 2. He knows not to wear tshirt but would khakis and golf shirt be okay? Should he wear sneakers with his khakis on the plane? Will they do anything physical or active upon his arrival and need to be wearing shorts and tshirt? Any help and guidance is appreciated.

Khaki shorts and polo are fine. Tucked in. If not, first thing they will do. As soon as they get there they get issued clothes and change. Recommend sneakers. They will be walking with their stuff.

USNA admissions or the USNA page had posted a bunch of pictures on social media from check in day for week 1. If your DS checks those out he should be able to tell.
