Deadliest Catch Fans

There’s lots of Coast Guard rescue action tonight starting at 8 EST on Discovery Channel. The first hour shows a rerun from last week where a mayday is sent out from a sinking crab boat. The film crew films a Jayhawk swimmer picking up a dead fisherman from the wreck debris.

Second hour covers the rest of the rescue when the whole western Alaskan Coast Guard command goes on alert to search for rest of the crew from the sunken crabber.

It was a good episode...very emotional. I remember hearing on the local news when the Katmai went down. I was praying they would all be saved but realistically knew that it was unlikely. The CG did an excellent job in terrible conditions.
