I was just granted a waiver a few hours ago for West Point. I was wondering if there is a date that I will know my decision by. I was under the impression that it was April 15, but now I am hearing that April 15 is just the day that you have to be medically qualified. Any information would be helpful.

Appointments come out till May 1. My FFR told me some appointments come out even after sometimes.

I was told that if you are appointed, MOCs will usually be the first notify you about your appointment which typically occurs on Fridays. So it's possible if you may have been accepted right now, but you won't be notified until Friday when an MOC calls you.

Typically occurs on Friday but mine called at 1pm on a Wednesday so just make sure you have your ringers on.

Portal update on Fridays. MOCs usually notify before that if they are going to call. My DS never got a call. That said, nothing is normal this year so I'd say to expect anything on any day!

15 April may be the deadline for medical waivers. Looks like you made it! Now you can get an appointment. Congrats.

My son never got a call or any notification. BFE showed up in the mailbox

Admissions gives MOC's 72 hours to notify candidate. Your RC and FFR will know, but will not contact you, nor will your portal update until after the 72 hour window.

Each MOC has their own policy - some make the call personally, some delegate to staff, some will not notify, and some will do all three with their appointees depending on their schedule.
