Deep breath on the TWEs

Lots of talk about TWEs. Other than the most obvious cases of applicants who don’t meet admissions standards, it is way too early for TWEs. At least the TWEs you don’t want. USMA will request information and sometimes provide 3q letters and sometimes confirm tour appoints and other correspondence; all in TWEs. The deadline for MOC nominations is 31 Jan (usually, I could be off a day or 2). Although some of you have heard about nominations, others haven’t and USMA hasn’t even started reconciling slates. Most bad TWEs won’t come out until after February where the first wave will go to applicants that don’t receive any nominations and don’t fit an exceptions USMA is looking for. Bottom line, you’ve done what you can, keep answering requests from USMA and update as appropriate. Don’t sweat the mail looking for TWEs.
