So, I put down Mechanical Engineering as my number 1 AFROTC choice but also filled out the other degree choices. I just wanted to ask because I could not find anything online, do they offer different types of scholarships for different degrees or is it one or nothing?

tech majors have a better shot of a) Type 1 and b) preference for a scholarship. But that doesn’t mean they won’t offer you one. Check out their highly desirable majors on the scholarship page. Majors change based on needs of the AF.

I did put down a tech major but the issue is that I applied for different majors at some schools so I was wondering if they would ask me about that or offer me different types of scholarships should I pursue a degree.

I swear I read somewhere in here that the major must show up on the acceptance letter from the school that matches the major that the scholarship is awarded for but now I can't find it.
