My family friend was struggling with what she should get me as a gift for graduation since I'm not allowed to bring much with me. She came up with the idea of a digital picture frame since it is a slideshow of pictures rather than just one frame with the same one. As nice as the thought is, it seems like it bends to rules a bit too much. Any thoughts? Should I pack the frame and risk it, or be safe and leave it at home?

just my very humble opinion, but while a digital frame would be nice for the school year, it would probably get broken on the first day of beast (drop your bag?) ... take the lightest load you can and have family mail new pictures in snail mail all summer....then you can have more to look forward to when you get your mail....(goofy pictures, pictures of your town, etc.)
I agree…don’t bring a digital frame on R-day. Have your parents bring it on A-day or mail it to you when the academic year begins.
My son took an 8 x 10 frame, plastic instead of glass. We made 2 different collages of pictures from home to put in the frame. He could switch between them if he wanted to.
