Distinguished Unit with Merit

hello everyone,

I am in AFJROTC and i was just announced as the new group commander. We are having our inspection this upcoming semester and im really trying to achieve distinguished unit with merit for the first time at my school. I would really appreciate any suggestions and advices on how to achieve this goal!

If there is literature regarding this, get it and study it. Maybe on the website or in your manual. Sit down with the instructor and try to get a grasp on what is required. Meet separately with your unit officers and formalize a plan. Bring this to your instructor for more input. Once your plan is solidified, bring the rank and file into the picture.
