Do cadets get military ID?

Thank you guys! I'm going to guess we get them sometime during Basic?

Additional pro tip - do not sell your CAC to anyone, especially drug dealers so that they can get on base. Yes, this is a true "you can't make this stuff up" story. I had an A1C sell his CAC to a drug dealer for $40 so they could get on base to sell drugs. After a few years, nothing your Airmen do will surprise you anymore.

You want a percentage of all sales, not 40 bucks.

Yet medical providers take copies of medical IDs which include CACs all the time. The article specifically says it is OK and I have scans available because I've been required to upload them in the past.
