Do cadets have another medical exam once they report for Swab?

Or is it a case of once medical/physically qualified, that part is over? Thanks. I am not asking about physical training aspects

Yes. They have various exams the first few days of swab summer. It doesn't happen often, but swabs have been disqualified during the first week, and later on during the summer if other issues arise.

Also check the thread "Medical Discharge" and "DQ'd after qualifying" on this forum.

Two candidates began out processing on R Day last year because of color blindness.

I believe the same thing happened in 2015. There are also a few who don't make weight on R-Day as well.

My son is in 2020, when he was home for spring break he told us the #1 cause of losing cadets in his class so far this year was from medical (mostly during swab summer). From conditions uncovered and from new injuries.
