Do those reapplying for USAFA during their freshman year of college retake the SAT? I think this was my DS's only relatively weaker spot in his direct from HS application (1340). Leadership, rigorous academics, GPA, athletics, CFA, recommendation letters and interviews were all very strong according to ALO and others who've been through the appointment process. He had congressional and senatorial x2 nominations. Thanks for your suggestions!
