Waiver denials can be reversed with additional medical information or testing. It is not common but it is possible depending on the condition at issue. Have your daughter contact Larry Mullen on the DODMERB forum. Good luck.

Our son had an initial denial. We had multiple eye exams refuting the initial one done by dodmerbs. It was a lengthy process for us (and costly) but worth it in the end. The waiver process was not well informed and it seemed like no one was communicating. We checked the portal often and one day we saw waiver granted. Zero communication that it was given
