DoDMERB and reapplication

New to the forum - searched for this question but could not find a thread. My DS applied to USAFA last year. Rec'd nomination and passed DoDMERB but did not receive an acceptance.
He is currently enrolled in university & in AFROTC and reapplying to USAFA. DoDMERB is valid for two years. How does it get recorded into his current application? Is there someone he needs to contact?

My DD is going through the same process. She also applied to USAFA last year and received a nomination and passed DoDMERB but did not receive an appointment. I called up DoDMERB in October and they told me USAFA admissions will request it. There was nothing we had to do. The DoDMERB physical is good for two years and in mid-November we received a one page form from DoDMERB that asked if her health status since her DoDMERB physical and if she had any medical or dental treatments since that time. We mailed that in and are waiting for the status to change on her application.
